Carlisle, PA – The Carlisle Performance & Style show is one of the events that has helped eJudged get off the ground. The people at Carlisle Events have always been very supportive – as this is the event where we first beta tested our idea for the app. This year’s event was a great success – as our app was in usage for two separate facets of the show. The outdoor judged showfield participated in Drive-Thru judging which was powered by eJudged and performed by a group that has been judging this event for nearly a decade – wrteam.com. WRTeam features some of the founding fathers of our eJudged app so it’s a great fit. The indoor invitational vehicles were also nominated and evaluated via our eJudged app for a few select elite “top flight” awards.

Camden, NJ – We officially kicked off our spring and summer social activation tour this past Sunday. We couldn’t think of a better event to get things started than Fresh Meet’s Spring Bash. The event took over four huge lots on the Camden Waterfront at Cambpell’s Field – just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. We got a huge response for our Ford Transit Connect Wagon and it’s new cleaner livery… and event spectators could stop by and try our iOS app for themselves in our booth. We can’t wait for Fresh Meet’s Summer Bash!

But next we’re just outside our hometown for Carlisle Performance & Style in PA. At Carlisle, both the outdoor judged showfield and the indoor elite Top Flight competitions are powered by eJudged. We’ll have our Ford Transit on display and in use as our mobile command center on Saturday and on display as part of LowLapalooza: The BLDG T Invitational Event hosted by LowLifeStyle.com.

Philadelphia, PA – Stop #2 on our winter appearance tour took place in the City of Brotherly Love. We had our Ford Transit Connect Wagon “mobile command center” on display inside the Dub Show Live section of the annual Auto Show. The event lasted for nine days – and despite several snow storms it was packed from wall to wall each day. Show officials estimated close to 250,000 people attended the event. We were quite excited to get that sort of first hand exposure for our product and our partners. Special thanks to our friends at DUB Magazine for giving us the space to be a part of the showcase.

Spring is right around the corner and we are so ready for it to get here. We’ve got an exciting – and growing – list of events who will be using our eJudged iOS app. We’ll also be hitting the road to set-up activations at a number of great events so stay tuned. Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, South Africa – We were honored and excited to take our eJudged iOS app global, as this past weekend the software was in use at Africa’s largest aftermarket VAG (VW/Audi) event. The original SA Vdub Festival is the annual event for enthusiasts of all things German. This pilgrimage attracts thousands of people who love modified cars, exceptional entertainment and the outdoor lifestyle. Vdub Camp Fest is a two day event that is a highlight on the social and motorsport calendar, and benchmark for other car shows in Africa. This year the event had grown so large that they had to take over an entire town – hosting the show across three venues (Abrahamsrust Resort, Riverside Sun and Emerald Casino). It was cool to see some unique VW’s in attendance… vehicles that would stand out here in the States at a huge event like H2Ointernational. The weekend seemed to be a huge success and we are excited to continue working with the Cum Laude VDubFestSA organizers in the future.

Harrisburg, PA – This past weekend our Ford Transit Connect Wagon project made its first appearance of 2014. While there were no competitions utilizing the app at the event, we had the car on display to spread the word about our brand, the Ford brand, and all of our build partners. The Pennsylvania Auto Show is organized by Motor Trend Auto Shows and we are grateful to have been given the space to share our unique vehicle with the people of Pennsylvania. We shared space with some cool Roush Mustangs and Police Interceptors – as Hoffman Ford showcased a host of Ford Specialty vehicles within their display.

In addition to the eJudged app being in action and gaining exposure at The SEMA Show thanks to the Mothers Shine Award competition, we also had the privilege of unveiling a project of our very own to the showfloor. We partnered with Ford Motor Company this year to create a mobile command center – and debuted the vehicle along with nine other customized Ford Transits as part of #FordSEMA’s Vandemonium. Our seven passenger Ford Transit Connect Wagon has been turned into a mobile hotspot, and has been customized inside and out. This vehicle will be on display and in action at select events in 2014 – so stay tuned or get in touch with us for availability.

On Day 1 and 2, our Transit was on display front and center at the Las Vegas Convention Center – representing Ford Out Front, along with the Hoonigan Racing madness – just ahead of the big Gymkhana Six release.

By Day 3 and 4 however, we were living it up front and center inside Ford’s massive booth within the Central Hall. Our vehicle was put on display right next to the cool custom t-shirt station where show-goers could design their very own custom Transit Connect and have it printed on a t-shirt. Spectators stood on line for hours waiting to create their shirt, which gave them plenty of time to get acquainted with our project.

SEMA 2013 was certainly a sign of some big things to come for eJudged. We’re proud to have been a part of all the action and extremely thankful to those that gave us the opportunity. Las Vegas, NV – We’ve just touched down back home on the east coast after a very rewarding trip to the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas. We celebrated our first year as SEMA members by not only attending the event, but also by meeting with potential clients, exhibiting a vehicle of our very own, and most importantly by getting involved behind the scenes in one of the event’s most elite award competitions. A few months ago, we received an email from a friend who wanted to bring eJudged to the table to the fine people at Mothers Polishes-Waxes-Cleaners. Each year at SEMA, they present the Mothers Shine Award. The competition recognizes SEMA’s best finishes. This year’s winners list read like a car builder’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony, as some truly legendary designers and fabricators were considered for the award – including this year’s Ridler Award winner.

When the dust settled, it was George Poteet’s 1969 Ford Talladega GPT Special built by Rad Rides by Troy, Inc. that came out victorious with the overall Best of Show bronze trophy famously depicting a car detailer’s towel. A well deserved win for an amazing vehicle.

The Mothers team reported that this was the fastest and most convenient judging and deliberation that they’ve ever experienced since they’ve been hosting this competition. With their feedback, together we will continue to streamline the process and hope to enjoy an even more successful partnership for the 2014 Mothers Shine Award.

Las Vegas, NV – As we roll into November, big things are happening within the eJudged camp! This week we travel to Las Vegas for the biggest automotive spectacle in the nation. The SEMA Show is where all the automotive brands (both OEM and aftermarket) release all of their new upcoming products for the following year. This year we are honored and excited to have multiple reasons to attend the SEMA Show.

The elite Mothers Shine Award will be powered by eJudged. We met with the Mothers team already and as the week progresses, they will be selecting the top cars in their categories. This is an exciting step for the eJudged team.

In addition, we will be unveiling a project that we partnered with Ford Motor Company on. Our 2014 eJudged Ford Transit Connect Wagon will make its official debut on November 5th in the Ford SEMA booth. The vehicle has been equipped with iPhone/iPad charging stations, several iPad mounts throughout, tv monitors to view real-time event scoring, as well as a host of show stopping products that will make the car a great display piece for our own booth at events in the future. The vehicle will be on display at select eJudged affiliated events, starting in 2014, and will be an additional tool that we can provide for our events.

Ocean City, MD – For 16 years and counting, Ocean City, MD has been the destination for the most anticipated event in the Volkswagen/Audi car scene. This year was no different nearly 700 cars registered for the biggest and baddest “laid back 2 day watercooled VW & Audi event” in the nation. We were honored and excited to have eJudged be the official judging software for H2Ointernational. We had a great time being a part of this wild weekend and are proud to report that our portion of the show performed well, without a hitch! This outdoor event, held at Fort Whaley Campground, gave us a great opportunity to see how well our app performed in an environment where WiFi coverage was spotty at best. The iPhone’s 3G connection was sufficient and a simple WiFi hotspot enabled judges using our loaner iPods to get in on the action in areas where the venue’s WiFi connection did not reach. Another huge success! We look forward to expanding the reach of our product into the VW/Audi community now as well.

Chicago, IL – This past weekend, the CREWS Car Show became the first peer judged car show to collaborate with eJudged. We thought the idea of an event where your own crew was being judged by peer crews was quite unique. We were able to push the limits of standard judging as 10 teams took part in judging one another. CREWS Car Show brought a very cool concept to the table, and we are extremely pleased that we were able to help that vision come to life.
