York, PA – VagFair is easily one of our favorite events of the summer. We’ve known Cory Sterling, the man behind the mayhem, for a really long time. He’s worked his tail off to make this show a huge success. This year Volkswagen of America came out to show support – so you know he’s doing something right. We were able to park the bus – aka our Ford Transit Connect Mobile Command Center – in the JunkStyles x Lowlifestyle mega booth, right on the midway. It was the perfect location for us to blast some WiFi across the showfield for the judges.
This event packs the York Fair year after year, and there are always some of the coolest high end builds posted up on the midway. The Best of Show car gets an automatic berth into H2O International’s Top Dawg competition. This year should be quite interesting, as our friend Mike Love and his insane RWD TT Mk3 Jetta took home Top Honors again. This car already won Top Dawg as well last year. Can he hold onto the title for a consecutive year? We don’t believe anyone else has done that yet. The build-up is exciting! As for VagFair though, it was another great year for the event and we can’t wait to return next year – and to get involved in Vacationland VagFair – the sister event which launched this year on the beach in Maine! It is always a great time when we get to spend the day with Cory and his staff. Cory is like family to us, and we love seeing his event soar to new heights. We appreciate the respect, love and support that the community shows to VagFair each year.
